»detours« is a performative art series that lets you experience existing knowledge from a different perspective through mental diversions. Detours invites you to an alternative journey companion, offering small “detours,” mental redirections to critical questions of urban practice in an interactive and performative manner. This journey companion is a collaboration between Guerilla Architects, Berit Fischer, and Leon Klaßen.
The first and second »detours« took place within the context of the Urban Practice Weeks in 2022 and 2023.

Together, we will visit three locations of Urban Practice in Berlin: Flussbad in Berlin-Mitte, PLATZ*DA! in Berlin-Lichtenberg, and Stadtwerkstatt at Rathausblock – and engage in discussions about potential synergies and the future of Urban Practice. This event is organized for and with politicians and representatives from the Senate and district administrations in the fields of urban development, culture, environment, education, youth and social affairs, as well as urban practitioners and interested parties.
